Susan Sargent, 57 of Red Bluff, CA, passed away on Thursday, February 2nd in Redding surrounded by loved ones.
Services will be held at Manton Cemetery on Saturday, February 11th at 11:00 am followed by a potluck celebration of life at the Manton Grange Hall.
Susan was born in Hawthorna, CA to be and Jacqueline Lenker on December 11, 1959. She managed Harry Ritchies Jewelers for many years, then worked at Tehama County Social Services until she retired.
Susan was a loving mother and grandmother who loved to help those in need. She touched many lives in our community and will be missed.
Susan is preceded in death by her father, Bob Lenker, grandoarents Bonnie and Clarence Allen.
Susan is survived by her mother, Jacqueline Lenker, brother Robert Lenker, children Keff, Juston, Stacia, Logan Sargent, daughter-in-law Laura Sargent, grandchildren Zoey and Marley Sargent, nephew Sylan Lenker.

Marni was a GP warrior since 2010 and fought a hard battle. She will be forever missed and loved by her family and many friends.
Pat Jones Washington, died 4/26/2017 at the age of 49, in IN
Patricia J. Washington, age 49, passed away on Friday, April 28th, 2017 at her residence in New Albany, Indiana. Patricia was born July 9th, 1967 at 11:00 am to Leola Carnell and the late Joseph Jones Jr. She was a member of the Nebo Baptist Church and a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She was a Registered Nurse and graduated school with National Honors. She loved her family dearly.
Left to mourn her passing are her loving mother Leola Carnell and her mother’s husband Marion Carnell. Patricia had three loving children; two sons, Kristopher and Kevin Washington; one daughter, Kristine Washington; four brothers: Joseph, Collier, James, and Reggie Jones; five sisters: Joyce Bullock, Joann Washington, Renee Barron, Monica Kraft, Elizabeth Clayton; and one loving grandchild: Cambree Lahman. She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Jones Jr., brothers Marion Cantrell Jr. and Billy Jones.
A wake will be held Thursday, May 4th 2017 from 4 to 8 PM at the Mt. Nebo Baptist Church and funeral services will be conducted at the church on Friday, May 5th at 11:00 AM with the Brother Benny Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Meadows Cemetery located in Louisville KY.
Pat was a big part of the GP Community. She will be missed by so many people.

Shelly M. Skawinski Ecuyer, 39, of Central Avenue in Cohoes, NY passed away peacefully at Albany Medical Center on Tuesday, May 2, 2017, after a long illness, embraced by her loving family. Born in Troy, she was the beloved daughter of Edward F. and Tammy (Murray) Skawinski of Cohoes; and devoted wife of Robert Ecuyer of Cohoes. Shelly was a lifelong area resident and graduated from Cohoes High School. She was employed as a title clerk with various Fuccillo car dealerships in the Capital District. Shelly enjoyed the excitement of scary movies and just relaxing watching T.V. Her true enjoyment came from being a loving mom to her sons; she was dedicated to her family and home. In addition to her husband and parents she is survived by her sons, Christopher M. Knight and Robert Alexandre-Xavier Ecuyer; siblings, Crystal L. (Danny) Skawinski, Nichole A. (Andrew) Russell, Edward M. Skawinski and Albert J. Skawinski all of Cohoes; father-in-law, Robert L. Ecuyer of Albany and several nieces and nephews. #rainbowsforrobbie
Jayme Lyn Henley Stringfellow, died 05/07/2017 at the age of 37, in AR
Jayme Lyn Henley Stringfellow, 37 of Fordyce, formerly of Star City, died Sunday at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff. She was born December 11, 1979 in Pine Bluff to Rodney Henley and Cheryl Jones Tucker. She was a member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church and was a former teller and financial service representative for Simmons Bank.
Survivors include her husband, James Stringfellow of Fordyce; father, Rodney Henley; mother, Cheryl Tucker, both of Star City; 2 sisters, Jennifer Bates of Star City and Jessica Villa of Little Rock; and maternal grandparents, Billy and Maurice Jones of Star City.
Funeral services are 10:00AM Wednesday at Griffin Funeral Chapel with Clay Wynn officiating. Visitation is 6:00-8:00PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial at Hickory Grove Cemetery.
Cindy Dixon, died 05/26/2017 at the age 53, in OH
Cindy Dixon was a gastroparesis warrior for many years and was a member of G-PACT’s original support group through yahoo groups. She was a kind, compassionate person who touched the life of everyone who knew her and they will all carry a little piece of her in their hearts.
Not only was Cindy a great friend, she provided support to many others. She did not focus on her illness but, instead, gave of herself to others. She will be greatly missed by her friends, and a special little boy she treated as her own grandson.
Abigail Blazio, died 06/16/17 at the age of 24, in LA.
Abigail suffered with gastroparesis and was having issues with blood clots. She was a member of G-PACT’s social media community and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Amy Ramsey, died 07/3/2017 at the age of 34, in PA
Amy was born on July 24, 1982 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She always fought the battle with a smile on her face even though she was suffering and in great pain.
Amy was an associate member of Wilkins VFC # 3 and enjoyed being part of the fire company. She loved her little dog Millie, camping, painting ceramics, reading, crocheting and country music. Amy adored her two little nephews. Amy was a kindhearted, loving, generous person and is greatly missed by all those that knew her.
Michelle Dawn Gallaher Frasure, died 7/5/2017 at the age of 35, in KY.
Michelle Dawn Gallaher Frasure, 35, of Catlettsburg, passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland. Michelle was born March 8, 1982 in Ashland a daughter of Leanna Gallaher of Ashland. She was a lifelong resident of Boyd County and graduated from Rose Hill. She also attended Ashland Community College and took Medical Billing courses through Huntington Junior College. She loved scrapbooking, writing, reading the bible and looking at old pictures. She had many pen pals over the years and enjoyed keeping in touch with them. She worked in several area businesses including Western Southern, Kroger and Speedway to name a few. She also loved any country song by Luke Bryan. In addition to her mother she is also survived by her maternal grandparents Paul and Dorothy Gallaher of Ashland, her children, twins Elijah Frasure and Ameila Frasure both of Westwood, son Nicky Long of Hanging Rock, OH, daughter Madison Frasure of Ashland, her boyfriend Eric Dalton of Catlettsburg, a very special aunt and uncle Roy and Dianna Suttles of Ashland and a host of extended family and friends.
Alexis Oswald, died 8/22/2017 at the age of 24, in FL
Alexis was born April 28,1993 in Palm Springs, California. She was a fighter who underwent so many surgeries. They tried everything from g tubes, j tubes, a pacemaker in her stomach to completely bypassing her stomach in an effort to try to help her.
Even though she had to endure all those things, she still did her best to smile. She adored her niece and nephew.
Hannah Baldwin-May, died 10/12/2017 at the age of 24, in PA
Hannah Baldwin-May, 24, of Cranberry Twp., passed away in the loving presence of her parents on Thursday, October 12, 2017, under the care of Family Hospice & Palliative Care at Canterbury Place in Pittsburgh following an extended chronic illness.
Born June 12, 1993, she was the adored daughter of Thomas E. May and Carla S. Baldwin of Cranberry Twp and birth parents Kelley Snyder (Nick Zinobile) and Eric Smith of Pittsburgh.
Hannah was an enthusiastic and lifelong member of the Unitarian Universalist Church of the North Hills and a 2011 graduate of Seneca Valley School District. She graduated from Kent State University, Magna Cum Laude, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing as a member of Sigma Theta Tau international honor society of nursing. She was a loyal employee of Aladdin’s Eatery for 5 years as a server and manager. After college, she was employed as a nurse in the Cardio-thoracic Surgical ICU at Allegheny General Hospital. In August, 2017 she received her honorary wings as an Allegheny Health Network Lifeflight nurse. She was a published writer on the subject of chronic illness and a contributing author to the mighty.com as well as an inspirational speaker.
Hannah was a cake decorator and Irish dancer who loved color, fashion and people. An adventure seeker, she enjoyed traveling and skydiving. She was well-loved, perpetually happy, and a friend to all.
In addition to her parents, Hannah leaves behind the following to cherish her memory: Grandmother, Carolyn Baldwin; aunts and uncles Charles May (Kristine), William May, Chester May, Carolyn Chandra, Catherine Baldwin, and Connie Baldwin (Victor Guinto); cousins Stephen May (Kati), Michael May, Tawnya Ciesielski, Amber May, Carolyn May, Chester May, Kyle Guinto, Nathan Guinto, and Jackie Baldwin; special friends Erica Glynn and Victoria Shearer; godson Jackson Shearer; “Hannah’s angel” Beasley Shearer; and beloved pets Tiko and Monkey.
Hannah was preceded in death by grandparents Charles and Carolyn May, and Carl Baldwin.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 19, 2017 from 2-4 P.M. and 6-8 P.M. at the Boylan-Glenn-Kildoo Funeral Home & Cremation Svcs., Inc., 130 Wisconsin Ave., Cranberry Twp., PA 16066.
Additional visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday, October 20, 2017 from 4 P.M. until 8 P.M.
A celebration of life service will be held at 11 A.M. on Saturday October 21, 2017 at Grace Community Church, 9160 Marshall Rd., Cranberry Twp., PA 16066, with Rev. Don Rollins officiating. Wear bright colors!

Penny S. Rorrer, died 10/31/2017 at the age of 49, in VA
Our dear friend , Penny S. Rorrer, lost her battle on October 31, 2017. Penny is survived by her parents in PA; husband, Lee; her children, Jessica and Ryan; her granddaughter, Sonya; and her fur babies. Penny was determined to live long enough to hold her first grandchild and it was a goal she met. It was one of the best experiences of her life.
Over the past year, Penny has had a below the knee amputation and was diagnosed with cancer, in addition to dealing with Digestive Tract Paralysis. Penny met every obstacle and setback with grace, dignity and a fighting spirit.
For the past two years, Penny was the volunteer Fundraising Director for G-PACT and sat on the Board of Directors. She was responsible for putting together our largest fundraising campaign ever, where over $10,000 was raised to fund our Registry research study for three years. Her determination to make this fundraiser a success resulted in Penny dying her hair green, and shaving her head to raise the funds.
Penny’s dedication to the DTP community made her well-known and admired. She was always available to help others and reached out on many occasions to assist newly diagnosed patients or those who were struggling. She was a compassionate and caring soul and will be greatly missed.
Christina Julia Anderson, died 11/27/2017 at the age of 37, in Canada
Christina Julia Anderson passed away at the age of 37 on November 27th, 2017 in Montreal, Canada, after a long and chronic illness. She was born on April 22, 1980 in Montreal. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science from McGill University. She loved animals and worked in the field of marine biology and especially enjoyed her travels to Kenya. She excelled in various athletic endeavors including triathlon, horseback riding, and downhill skiing. In addition to her many talents she was an avid reader of classic literature and poetry. As an accomplished graphic designer she used various media, including chalk drawings and stained glass. She is greatly missed.
