Holiday inspired recipes to satisfy and nourish*

Ingredients:
• 2 cups eggnog
• 1 banana
• 1 cup nonfat vanilla yogurt
• 1/3 cup of 2% milk
• 2 cups of ice
• Pinch of nutmeg
• Pinch of cinnamon
Blend until the banana is part of creamy texture.
Cranberry Sauce (source: http://www.epicurious.com/ recipes/food/views/Cranber ry-Sauce-102583)
• 1 cup water
• 1 cup sugar
• 12-oz bag fresh or frozen cranberries (3 cups)
• 1/2 teaspoon freshly grated orange zest
Bring water and sugar to a boil, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Add cranberries and simmer, stirring occasionally, until berries just pop, 10 to 12 minutes. Stir in zest, then cool.
