At Telitha’s funeral, Benjamin, her best friend, was asked to give her Eulogy. His words were as such: I feel very fortunate today to stand before you, Telitha’s loved one’s, and God to speak of hr and about her life as she lived it for the 27 years she walked on this earth. Anyone here today that valued Telitha knew that in her you had a friend for life. In Telitha you found acceptance, love, strength, caring, compassion and above all else, loyalty. Telitha did not know the word enemy and in any stranger she found a friend. Telitha possessed many gifts and her gift to me was her unconditional love and friendship. Love is what she brought to my heart everyday we were together and I feel many of you would say the same. I do believe unselfishly Telitha asked only one thing and that was to be accepted for who she was and to be loved in return. As we walk through life, we should take the time to ponder who the people in our lives are and why our paths have crossed. Because of Telitha, I do believe through God, I have been divinely favored to have had such a wonderful person brought into my life. Words cannot express the joy she brought to mine and Tim’s life everyday. We will miss her greatly but her spirit lives through us everyday. My Friend, Telitha, now walks with God. There is no more suffering. She now has peace and is free from this terrible disease that brought so much pain and misery to her young life. My friend is Telitha and she now walks with God! Good-bye my Princess. BenjaminPages: 1 2
