The purpose of the supply depot is to offer patients a chance to donate unused medical supplies to someone else in need. Obviously, there are limitations on what we can accept. Unsterile needles, medication, pre-formulated TPN, among other items will not be allowed. Also, any item that is rented or owned by an insurance company is not acceptable either. Items such as feeding bags for enteral feeding, alchohol wipes, unopened gauze and medical tape, sterile needleless syringes, unopened tubing for TPN, wheelchairs, unopened and non-expired cans of formula for feeding tubes (Jevity, Ultracal, Osmolite, Nutren, etc) and other such items are acceptable. If you have a question about supplies that you would like to donate to a person in need, please write our supply depot manager at hastonc@g-pact.org. Usually, G-PACT will work to connect the donor with a person in need and will not keep products in storage unless there is no one in need at that time for that product. Shipping and handling should be paid by either the donor or the recipient.
