G-PACT provides a patient support network by connecting gastroparesis patients with other people in their situation.  This includes personal contact, internet contact, phone contact, or other means.  Whenever possible, G-PACT tries to connect patients with someone who lives relatively close to them.  At times G-PACT may arrange informal gatherings in a central location for a number of patients to meet in person.  G-PACT will also be involved in organizing in person support groups that meet on a regular basis.  These support groups will be founded based on the number of contacts we receive from patients and families in one location.

We have just launched a new portion of our website making it even easier for people to connect with others who have GP! To review the information, qualifications, or to meet others who are currently involved in this program, please click here.

G-PACT also maintains a list of motility doctors in our network, contact info, and their specialties.  G-PACT officers are willing to assist patients in choosing a motility specialist and will communicate with the staff to make necessary arrangements so that they may receive adequate treatment and care.
